Description
What is a "Cross Fox " ?? An internet search provided this...for what its worth, "a partially melanistic colour variant of the red fox " During a recent adventure in Eastern Newfoundland I was driving during an early morning...and this handsome male or beautiful female fox appeared roadside and was hunting, mostly oblivious to my presence...I managed a few frames of this rather thin "Cross Fox" and left it to continue hunting. It was suggested that its thin appearance was related to available food taken in its recent hunting was dedicated to its spring off spring, newborn kits that were stashed somewhere nearby?
